Now, we’re giving you the freedom to bank on the go - with the power and convenience of our new My Bank Mobile service.

If you need an Activation Code: you must login to Personal Internet Banking or, if you aren't already registered, sign up for Personal Internet Banking. Once logged in, you will see a link for Manage mobile banking settings under your Quick Links or in the Customer Service tab. Choosing this will allow you to setup your phone and receive an activation code. Your activation code will be active for usually around twenty-four (24) hours, you may use it to activate your text banking, mobile web and/or your downloadable app.  If your activation code expires before you are able to setup your phone, you can request a new code at any time in Internet Banking.
 
Within your Mobile Banking Settings you will be able to add multiple phones or devices to have access to your accounts, and you can access those accounts through three different methods:
 

Text Banking

Text My Bank to receive your balances or transfer funds by sending a message to 79680

Mobile Web

Use the mobile web on your smart phone and access your accounts! 

Downloadable App

Download the easy to use app for your Blackberry®, iPhone® or Android.

Text Banking - Text us at 79680

Once you're signed up for mobile banking, you can send a text message to us at 79680 and we'll respond with the info you need!  Just use any of the codes below.  Message and data rates may apply depending on your contract with your cellular provider.

  • B - Receive your account balances
     
  • H - Get your transaction history for a particular account (will require you to choose an account)
     
  • T - Transfer money from one account to another...just type the letter "T" and the system will respond with instructions. Your reply back will include the From # To # and amount.  Screenshot to the right shows an example:
     
  • L - Receive the My Bank Mobile banking link for your smart phone
     
  • HE or HELP - Receive a link to help content regarding mobile and our phone number to call if you need to chat with us about mobile banking.
     
  • S or STOP - Turn off text banking...just FYI, if you do this and wish to turn it back on, you will need to re-enroll your phone
     
  • R - Request an activation code for reactivation of the mobile web
     
  • C - Receive a text with a list of these commands

Mobile Web

Easy to use. On the go.

With mobile web, First United is able to provide you with a mobile experience much like an app for your phone, regardless of what type of phone you may have.  Smart phones, such as the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry allow users an enhanced experience. 

From your mobile phone's web browser, you can:

  • View your account balances on your deposits and loans

  • Pay bills to vendors you have established on Internet Banking

  • Transfer funds between your accounts at First United

  • Find a nearby ATM or Branch

Is My Bank Mobile Secure?

The safety of your personal and financial information is at the heart of the My Bank Mobile service. Our service allows you to securely view account balances and activity, transfer funds or pay bills from your mobile phone.  Through a variety of security precautions, including the fact that our apps do not store any account information or account numbers on your phone; and requiring you to log in each time you wish to use your app; mobile banking is just as secure as traditional Internet Banking.

The My Bank Mobile app allows users to more quickly access their banking information, and some devices also allow you shortcuts, such as saving your User ID so that you do not need to retype it each time you want to log in to your accounts.  (As a security feature, you can turn this off if you wish as shown in the screenshot on the right)

The My Bank Mobile app also features the same abilities as the Mobile Web:

  • View your account balances on your deposits and loans

  • Pay bills to vendors you have established on Internet Banking

  • Transfer funds between your accounts at First United

  • Find a nearby ATM or Branch
